Use a +4 auto transmission fluid, please verify what is called for by the manufacturer before adding any of the conditioner products
Many of the 6 to 8 speed transmissions and the multi shift (paddle shift) transmissions have a dual clutch setup that requires a different blend to function properly.
Add one bottle of the correct Transmission Conditioner to the transmission fluid. DO NOT OVERFILL If you are draining the torque converter you can add a bottle to the convertor and a bottle to the transmission case as well.
If the transmission fluid is burned or dark, service the transmission and change the filter then replace the fluid using one bottle of Transmission Conditioner as part of the fluid quantity required on the fill. In my experience servicing a high mileage transmission usually causes more harm so we resist servicing if possible over 100K miles.
If the transmission is sealed you can remove a small amount of the fluid and pump in a bottle of the Transmission Conditioner. Most dealers service the sealed transmission and add the conditioner at that time.
In each situation the vehicle needs to be immediately driven 30 to 50 miles to allow the molecular process to take place and the “gunk” buildup to begin to dissolve.
We suggest GOOGLE the transmission for issues prior to any service. I have found many of todays transmissions have bulletins and may just require a computer update to correct a shift problem. The Acadia, Enclave, Terrain transmission has TSB’s involving the Wave Plate and if caught before 120,000 miles can be repaired by the dealership at little or no cost.
Pour 1 bottle into the fuel tank with 15 to 20 gallons of fuel. Best if the bottle is poured into the tank PRIOR to filling the tank to allow for blending before starting. Drive the vehicle as usual. If the vehicle has failed an emissions test, add the bottle to less fuel (10 to 12 gallons) and drive the vehicle 50 to 100 miles to allow the process to clean the system and effect the EGR and converters before returning for a retest.

You can use the Diesel Engine Conditioner in a gas engine; you CANNOT use the Gas Engine Conditioner in a Diesel.

Immediately drive the vehicle 30 to 50 miles, preferably on the freeway. Allow the product to circulate and bond with the heated metals.
If the knocking, tapping or oil pressure issues have not been resolved make another drive of similar miles. This can be immediately or a following day.
Use one bottle in a 4cyl engine or 6cyl below 3 liter.
3 bottles can be used in 5 liter 8cyl or larger especially for poorly maintained engines (still running)
When adding the motor oil leave 1 quart out to allow room for the Jilcat.
Once at temperature add the necessary amount of Jilcat into the oil.

For Preventative Maintenance in inventory without a current issue, follow the above recommended amounts of Jilcat Proline based on engine size, drive 2 or 3 miles or allow an idle for about an hour and put your vehicle out for sale. Driving longer distances immediately after adding isn’t necessary, at least not the distance recommended for trouble engines.
