So many Ford F150, Expeditions and other Fords have a huge SLUDGE issue. The oil Solenoid micro screens get clogged with SLUDGE and cannot apply the correct oil pressure to the Cam Phaser which controls the advance timing, you get a knocking sound. The computer tries to compensate, the sophisticated timing chain and cam system gets strained, the chain guide breaks and the timing jumps. If you can get ahead of the timing jump you can improve the oil flow, clear the SLUDGE and get that 5.4 back to the performance it was designed to produce. Give this a try BEFORE the engine has to be replaced. Add in the products and drive the vehicle at least 50 miles non stop.
